Goa GajahThis cave was built at down hill of holy rivers Petanu and Pakerisan. he sanctuary was probably dated from the 11th century Bali Kingdom. The complex contains both Hindu and Buddhist imagery, as the cave contains lingam and yoni, symbol of Shiva, and the image of Ganesha, while by the river there are carved images of stupas and chattra, imagery of Buddhism. The cave was rediscovered by Dutch archaeologists in 1923, but the fountains and bathing pool were not discovered until 1954.
Moon of Pejeng
Pura Penataran SasihMoon of Pejeng is the largest single-cast bronze kettle drum in the world. According to local myth moon of Pejeng is urinated chariot wheel of God, fallen on the tree.
Temple and Funerary complexThese funeral monuments are thought to be dedicated to King Anak Wungsu of the Udayana dynasty and his favorite queen, dating back in 11th century.
